WHAT IF I GO OUT OF TOWN?
Eat Fit Food appreciates travel and changing schedules are part of life, and are flexible in accommodating such events. 72 hours notice prior to delivery (within office hours 9-5 Monday to Friday) is required for any changes to delivery.
HOW DO I HEAT MY MEAL?
The meals can be heated for 2-4 minutes in the microwave in the container or transferred to a plate and heated. Your EAT FIT FOOD meals include a daily menu which will provide specific heating instructions for each dish.
CAN I EAT A MEAL THE NEXT DAY IF I MISSED IT?
Food must be consumed within 24 hours of delivery.
HOW SHOULD MY FOOD BE STORED?
Cooler bag contents must be transferred to a refrigerator immediately.
WHAT SHOULD I DRINK ?
EAT FIT FOOD recommends drinking 2-3 litres of water daily.
HOW WILL EAT FIT FOOD BENEFIT MY LIFESTYLE?
Nutrition is an integral part of health and positive wellbeing. The benefit of good food that is fresh and delicious to both physical and psychological health should not be underestimated. A nutritious diet, especially when combined with regular exercise will promote a healthy weight, lower the risk of disease and enhance both mental health and energy levels.
WHAT IF I HAVE AN ALLERGY/INTOLERANCE OR DISLIKE A FOOD?
To ensure absolute satisfaction we develop a personal food file for each client which stores information regarding dietary restrictions or preferences. If you have an allergy, please discuss this with Eat Fit Food to assess the suitability of our program.
WHAT IF I AM HUNGRY?
The EAT FIT FOOD program can be modified to suit individual energy requirements, by adjusting portion sizes or adding an extra meal or snack. The meals have been appraised by a Dietitian for nutritional value, and for optimal balance of protein, carbohydrate and healthy fats. A balanced meal will promote energy and mental focus to see you through the day.
I AM NOT OVERWEIGHT, HOW DO I BENEFIT FROM EAT FIT FOOD?
Good nutrition will benefit all shapes and sizes. By improving dietary intake, overall health is enhanced. Plus- Eat Fit Food is delicious!
DO I EAT MY MEAL IF I AM NOT HUNGRY?
It is best to be responsive to your appetite signals and eat when you are feeling hungry, without waiting until you are famished (this may lead to overeating). It is good eating practice to have a routine of eating at least 3 times a day, to ensure the body receives adequate energy. If you find that you are often not hungry, the EAT FIT FOOD Dietitian can asses you personally and advise if adaptation to the program is required.
WHAT IF I GET HUNGRY THROUGHOUT THE DAY?
If you are hungry after a few days please contact EAT FIT FOOD. The Dietitian can assist by making recommendations and adjustments to your eating plan.
WHAT ABOUT SALAD DRESSINGS?
EAT FIT FOOD salad dressings are served in individual containers and can be added at your discretion. They are portion controlled, and made with heart healthy oils.
WHAT IF I CAN'T FINISH ALL MY FOOD?
Only eat until you are satisfied, not busting at the seams! If there is too much food, leave a portion to have later. Eating less and more frequently helps regulate blood sugar levels for consistent energy throughout the day. If there is too much food, eat only enough to satisfy your appetite and energy requirements.
IS IT HIGH IN FIBRE?
Eat Fit Food is high in fibre due to loads of vegies, fruit, whole grains and unprocessed foods. A high fibre diet may impact on bowel habits in the first few days. This will normalise as the gut adapts to a healthier high fibre diet.
PAYMENT
All payments to Eat Fit Food will be processed by our direct debit billing provider, Pay Solutions Emu Plains, unless otherwise arranged or specified. Please note that all credit cards incur a 2.5% fee (AMEX 4.5%), unless you have arranged a direct debit set up with us. For clients paying via bank transfer, payment must be arranged prior to the week's commencement of deliveries, with clients ensuring they email through confirmation that payment has been made, whilst also indicating name and/or invoice number on the bank transfer.
